Stepping outside my hotel, it was finally light outside, and I was able to behold Iceland by the light of day. I had some screenshots of google maps walking directions on my iPad, from my hotel to a restaurant called Vox, where I’d made reservations for brunch before my trip. It looked pretty fancy on the internet. : )

I have a terrible sense of direction, but I managed to walk all the way there with no problem! It was kind of a long walk, too – about 40 minutes. I had to keep looking at my iPad and referencing the street names I was passing, to make sure I was turning where I was supposed to and keeping on course. I got to see mountains in the distance, and walk through a bit of snow on the ground. It was very pretty! But then again, winter’s my favorite season, and I like cloudy weather. : )

If you came by my booth at MoCCA this year and bought my first Thoughts From Iceland comic booklet, this was the last strip in there. So get excited for new content this Monday! : D Everyone who didn’t pick up a copy, the content’s always been new for you, so just keep doing what you’re doing. =P
