I don’t remember (and didn’t write down) the name of the place we stopped at, but I think there’s a pretty good chance that it was an N1 – a chain of Icelandic gas stations / rest stops. But who knows! Those are all the snacks I got for the day, knowing we’d all be getting dinner together later, after the hiking and such.

I think I’ve mentioned kleinur here before, but this was the first time I actually got to try one on the trip. As I said, that particular one was not super great. But don’t worry, it was not my last kleina. : ) (Singular pronounced “clay-nah,” plural pronounced “clay-noor”.)
